Who We Are
Better understanding of self leads to better understanding of others in every capacity of life.
The Telos Story
Dayna was first introduced to the Enneagram in 2010 from a book given to her by a friend. Quickly wanting to learn more, she attended a conference in Houston, Texas put on by the author of the book she read. Little did she know, this would be the first of many conferences she would attend on the Enneagram and would go on to become a certified Enneagram coach. As a mother of six children, she was captivated by the language used to described the uniqueness among people and how individuals interpret the same message in such contrasting ways. By better understanding her children’s core differences, Dayna found that she had more understanding and insight into who each of her children are, allowing her to relate to them in ways she hadn’t before. As a result, Dayna took a deep dive into studying the Enneagram and developed a passion for sharing this wisdom with others.
As one of Dayna’s six children, Jeddy has heard about the Enneagram since the time Dayna discovered it. However, it took her a few more years to pursue a more in depth knowledge of it. Jeddy has always been fascinated by people and relationship dynamics. This led her to study Psychology and pursue a degree in counseling. She currently works as a Licensed Professional Counselor. As Jeddy better understood the Enneagram and grew in Enneagram wisdom, she realized its value in her own relationships as well as in her counseling practice.
Together, Dayna and Jeddy recognize a need for individuals to better understand the “why” behind theirs and others’ behaviors. The Enneagram has been transformational in both of their lives and they want others to experience the freedom that comes from understanding their core motivations. Dayna and Jeddy created Telos Consulting with a hope to share the wisdom of the Enneagram with others. They firmly believe that by better understanding self, one will be more effective in relating to others in every capacity of life.
Our Mission
We all have core motivations that drive our thoughts and behaviors, but unfortunately most people are unaware of these motivations. This lack of awareness inhibits them from understanding themselves and others which results in conflict, frustration, and division within a team.
Through Enneagram wisdom, people gain an accurate understanding of both themselves and others, which results in emotionally healthy individuals creating a strong team. This shift ultimately allows a business to operate at its highest capacity.
What is the Enneagram?
The Enneagram is a nine pointed geometric symbol with each point representing a basic personality type. In it’s essence, it is a journey of self discovery that describes nine different means by which we maneuver our way through the world providing language to understand our strengths and weaknesses, while revealing the hidden motivation behind our habitual specific patterns of thinking, feeling and doing.
